I am planting 5 Eyeliner Asiatic lillies in a large pot. Do you still advise a 50/50 ericacous/John Innes 3 potting mix for these more lime tolerant lillies? Or is it alright to use my limey garden soil with a council garden waste compost which also has a high PH?

Eyeliner is a Longiflorum asiátic lily so will take most soil types. So either option is fine.
