This question was asked by

Is it too late to plant lily bulbs ?

No it’s not too late for planting lilies and they will still flower this year for you. Usually within 12 weeks of planting. But it depends on the variety, some will flower sooner.

Lily Bulbs over winter

This question was asked by
L. Boughen

hi can lily bulbs be left in the ground or do they have to be lifted and replanted , live in scotland

Lilies like a cold dormant phase throughout winter so they can be left in the ground as long as they are in a free draining location.

Planting advide fo Lily bulbs

This question was asked by
B. Wickremarachchi

Hi, is it ok to store the lily bulbs for a few days before planting it in the ground? For instance, keep it for 2 or 3 days after arrival before planting? And if yes, what are the best conditions to store them?
Thank you.

Yes – this is absolutely fine to store your bulbs in a cool, dry place before planting. I would advise planting them as soon as you can as they will be ready to sprout if they haven’t already done so.
