Winter protection- Eucomis are not fully hardy and the bulbs need to be protected from frost. Apply a mulch to protect from hard frosts. Cover with 10cm thick of bark or leaf mould.
Containers can be kept in a frost-free place over winter, bring them into shelter from October. Allow the compost to dry out for the bulbs to become dormant.
If you wish to lift them, dry the bulbs off and store them in a frost-free place such a shed or greenhouse.

The Hart Family

After flowering- It is important with all bulbs to allow the leaves to die back naturally.. Continue reading →

{"_jetpack_memberships_contains_paid_content":false

33
261,259,411,274,387,232
post-3348","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-faq","tag-261","tag-259","tag-411","tag-274","tag-387","tag-faq
["GET
