Do they need watering throughout the winter or should they be kept dry<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"hubmaster_faq_answer\">Hi Anne<\/p>\n<p>Cannas need lifting and drying off over winter. Cut back foliage and carefully lift the rhizomes out of the soil.<br \/>\nAllow the rhizomes to dry off naturally and then clean away any soil.<br \/>\nMake sure the tubers are completely dry before storing them into open trays or boxes.<br \/>\nStore in a dark place that is frost free.<br \/>\nReplant them in the spring and water regularly.<\/p>\n<p><em class=\"hubmaster_faq_editor\">The Hart Family<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi Anne<\/p>\n<p>Cannas need lifting and drying off over winter.
