Is the black mess\/poo from the beetles?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"hubmaster_faq_answer\">Yes the black mess on the underside of the lily leaves is the Lily Beetle&#8217;s faeces. This contains the beetle&#8217;s grubs and they will eat the leaves also.
