This lovely scented member of the Gladiolus family, also known as Acidanthera Murielae is a great staple flower for your garden beds or patio pots with its vanilla perfume and structured flowers. It's also ideal as cut flower as it lasts so long in a vase.

Acidanthera Gladiolus Callianthus is also known as the Sword Lily or Peacock Lily.

"Acidanthera are safest grown in pots. Bring the pots indoors for the winter and move back outside in the Spring once the risk of frost has passed. If potted, they make wonderful Autumn houseplants too."

Delivery and P&P

Summer Flowering Bulbs are dispatched from the end of February to the end of May.
All orders should be dispatched within 3-5 working days during this time.
Postage cost to mainland UK (excluding N.Ireland) is £4.95.
Orders over £50 qualify for FREE delivery.

When your order is due for dispatch, you will receive a tracking email from us to track your parcel.
Your parcel will be sent on a 48 hour tracked service with Yodel.

Returns and Refunds

You have the right to cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched.
All returns must be returned at your cost within 7 days of receipt.
Payment for the returned goods will be refunded within 7 days of the goods being received by us, less the postage charges.

• Position your corms in full sun to partial shade in well-drained, moist soil.
• Plant your corms 10-16cm (4-6") deep.
• Space your corms 10cm (4") apart. 
• If planting in pots, we advise: 
  • 7 to 10 bulbs for a 20cm pot
  • 13 to 15 bulbs for 30cm pot
  • 20 to 25 bulbs for a 50cm pot.
• Plant in pots or directly in the garden. 
• See 'Care Instructions' for protecting over the winter months.

• If planting in pots, stop watering at the end of Summer and bring them indoors for winter to protect against frost.
• Place back outside once the danger of winter frosts has passed. 
• If in the garden, lift your corms when the leaves turn yellow/brown and store then in a dry, frost-free place.
• Plant your Acidanthera Gladiolus Callianthus back outside once the danger of winter frosts have passed. 
• Acidanthera Gladiolus Callianthus produce a fantastic display but they may need replacing after 2 years of flowering.
