Eucomis Autumnalis Eucomis Autumnalis

Eucomis Autumnalis, commonly known as the Autumn Pineapple Lily, is a striking bulbous perennial that adds bold structure and late-season charm to gardens. As part of the distinctive Eucomis family, it features a pineapple-like flower head—an upright central stem densely packed with star-shaped blooms, crowned with a rosette of leafy bracts that complete its exotic look.

Growing to around 40cm tall, E. Autumnalis produces masses of greenish-white, starry flowers that bloom in late summer through early autumn, bringing fresh energy to borders just as many other flowers begin to fade.

Perfect for adding a tropical touch to sunny borders, gravel gardens, and patio pots, this easy-care plant thrives in well-drained soil and full sun, and can even be used as a feature plant in containers.

With its unique structure, long flowering period, and eye-catching blooms, Eucomis autumnalis is an ideal choice for gardeners looking to extend seasonal interest into the later months of the year. A must-have for those who love architectural plants with an exotic twist!
