Keep Lily Beetle at bay with this Wildlife-friendly, Eco-friendly, Child and Pet-friendly, all-natural Lily Beetle Prevention Solution 'Grazers'. Grazers will also strengthen and stimulate the plant growth.
Scarlet Lily Beetle (LILIOCERIS LILII)
This scarlet coloured pest can feed on lily and fritillaria foliage in spring to early summer. Bulbs can become under-sized and flowering the following year can be jeopardised. These pests can be seen in their various stages of growth and are all equally dangerous. Reddish brown eggs lead onto grubs and then finally to bright red beetles with black head and legs.
How to use:
- Dilute 45ml of concentrate with 750ml of water in a sprayer.
- Spray every 7-10 days upon first sighting of growth (from March onwards).
- Ensure to spray on top and under the foliage.
- Spray again after rainfall.

How to Use Grazers G4 Lily Beetle Prevention – Concentrate
Grazers G4 Concentrate is a natural and effective way to protect your lilies from lily beetles, without harming beneficial insects, pets, or the environment. Perfect for those with a larger collection of lilies or multiple garden beds!
Mixing Instructions:
- Shake the bottle well before use.
- Dilute 30ml of concentrate in 1 litre of water.
- Mix thoroughly in a clean spray bottle or garden sprayer.
One bottle makes multiple litres of spray depending on size – always follow dilution instructions on the label.
When to Apply:
- Start spraying as soon as lily shoots appear in early spring.
- Apply every 7–10 days, especially after rain or watering.
- Continue spraying throughout the growing season to maintain protection.
How to Apply:
- Spray the diluted solution generously onto your lily plants.
- Ensure you cover both the tops and undersides of the leaves, and stems too.
- Apply in dry, calm conditions, ideally early morning or late afternoon to avoid scorching in strong sun.

- Consistency is key – regular applications deter adult beetles from laying eggs.
- Combine with manual checks: remove any visible beetles or larvae.

* Please note - Although these lilies are listed as 'Pollen-free Lilies', in extreme weather conditions, lilies can get stressed and, in turn, this can cause the lilies to produce stamen.
** As with lots of plants/flowers in the garden, lilies are toxic to pets if ingested. Not just the stamen but the foliage and flowers too. Pets do not tend to eat lilies but the problem with lilies occurs when cats or dogs brush past the stamen and then lick if off their fur. We advise opting for pollen-free lilies and keeping your lilies up high and away from fences or windowsills where cats can easily brush against the flower heads that have stamen.

Spring Flowering Bulbs are dispatched from September to November.
All orders should be dispatched within 3-5 working days during this time. (Unless otherwise stated on the Shipping est.)
Postage cost to mainland UK (excluding N.Ireland, Highlands and Isles) is £4.99.
All out of area postcodes are charged at £9.50.
Orders over £60 qualify for FREE delivery to mainland UK (excluding N.Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Highlands and Isles).
