Also known as The Star of Bethlehem, Ornithogalum is low maintenance and great for planting in pots for a showy display with it's tall clumps of multiple crowns that improve year on year.

How to plant Ornithogalum

  • Plant your Ornithogalum bulbs in Spring once the last frosts have passed.
  • Plant in pots or borders, in full sun or partial shade.   
  • Plant your bulbs 15-20cm deep and space the bulbs 15-20cm apart.
  • Plant with the pointy end up.
  • Water in after planting and water regularly during active growth period.
