A pack of miniature orchids called Pleione. They are also referred to peacock orchid, glory of the east, Himalayan crocus, Indian crocus and windowsill orchid.
Pleiones are part of the orchid family and will produce one or two lance-shaped leaves with solitary flowers on each stem that will reach a height of 15cm and 8cm across.
How to plant Pleiones
- Plant your Pleione bulbs in Spring. Pleiones are hardy to about 5 degrees and can be planted outside in mild winter areas or planted in pots for indoors (or outdoors) with the right conditions, hence the name 'Windowsill orchid'.
- If planting in pots (for indoors or outdoors), position your pots in partial shade.
- Plant your bulbs 8-10cm deep and aim for 3 to a pot.
- Plant with a well-drained potting mix.
- Water in after planting and water just enough to moisten the soil. Do not over water. Warm wet soil will rot the shoots off the bulbs.

This item is dispatched all year around.
All orders should be dispatched within 3-5 working days.
Postage cost to the UK (excluding N.Ireland) is £5.50.
Orders over £50 qualify for FREE delivery.
