Tulip ‘Mariage’ is a beautifully elegant double late tulip, prized for its lush, peony-like blooms and romantic colouring. Its full, layered petals open to reveal a soft blend of creamy white and delicate blush pink, creating a graceful and timeless display in the spring garden.

Flowering in late spring, ‘Mariage’ produces large, long-lasting blooms held on sturdy stems reaching around 40–45 cm tall. The dense, double flowers add volume and texture to borders, containers, and floral arrangements, making this variety especially popular for cut flowers and wedding-style displays.

Best planted in autumn, this tulip thrives in well-drained soil and a sunny or lightly shaded position. Pair with pastel-toned tulips or spring perennials for a soft, romantic planting scheme.

• Deadhead the flowers during the season before the petals fall off.
• After flowering has finished for the season leave the foliage in place; don't cut it off. The leaves will gather sunlight, create food through photosynthesis and strengthen the bulbs for the future.
• Water as needed during active growth periods.
• By mid summer the leaves may yellow and die back. Foliage may be removed at this point.
• Some tulips flower well for one year and then need lifting out of the soil and carefully stored if you want to use them again. Once everything has fully died back, you can lift them and store them in a dark, dry, airy place over summer, allowing the air to circulate around them. They can then be replanted in the Autumn.
