Description of Begonia Pendula White (Pack of 5) Begonia

White blooms of Trailing Begonia Pendulas are great for brightening up your hanging baskets or cascading over your patio pots. These bright flowers will add a splash of summer colour throughout the summer months (June to September). Begonias are great for shady patios as they prefer partial shade to full sun.

Begonia Pendulas White will fall gracefully over your baskets and containers.

How to plant Double Begonias

  • Double Begonia Tubers are ideal for containers, pots or tubs.
  • From February onwards, start Begonia tubers off in a well-drained compost in a sunny position.
  • We advise planting 3 x tubers into an average hanging basket.
  • Position the Begonia tubers just below the compost surface with the 'hole' of the tuber facing up approx 2.5cm deep.
  • Space your tubers about 2cm apart.

How to care for Pendula Begonias

  • Feed and water Begonia plants frequently throughout the growing season. Take care not to over water.
  • Deadhead faded flower heads regularly, this will encourage new growth for longer.
  • Once the Begonia flowering season has finished, the stems and foliage will turn yellow and die back naturally.
  • Reduce watering to prevent rotting.
  • Once all the stems have fallen off naturally, dig out the tubers, clean and dry them before storing them away in peat or sand in a dry, frost-free area like a garage or shed.
  • Replant the following February.

I have just received my begonia corms and would like to thank you for your very efficient service and the size of the corms far better than I could buy in any garden centre near here

Ah that's lovely to hear - thank you for emailing us.
