Delivery and P&P

Summer Flowering Bulbs are dispatched from the end of February to the end of May.
All orders should be dispatched within 3-5 working days during this time.
However, during the months of April and May, we may allow up to 10 working days for dispatch due to exhibiting at the flower shows. 
Postage cost to mainland UK (excluding N.Ireland, Highlands and Isles) is £4.99.
All out of area postcodes are charged at £9.50.
Orders over £60 qualify for FREE delivery to mainland UK (excluding N.Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Highlands and Isles).

When your order is due for dispatch, you will receive a tracking email from us to track your parcel.
Your parcel will be sent on a 48 hour tracked service with Yodel.

Returns and Refunds

You have the right to cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched.
All returns must be returned at your cost within 7 days of receipt.
Payment for the returned goods will be refunded within 7 days of the goods being received by us, less the postage charges.

How to plant Arum Sauromatum Venosum

• Plant your Arum Sauromatum Venosum tubers outside during the spring months.
• They prefer the soil to be moist but well drained. 
• If planting in pots, use a good-quality multipurpose compost. 
• These Voodoo Lilies like full sun or dappled shade.
• Plant your tubers in borders or containers.
• Space the tubers about 10-15cm (4-6") apart.
• Spread the tubers out and plant 5-10cm (2-4") deep.
• Water-in after planting.
• When planting in pots, ensure there is adequate drainage and use a potting compost. 

• Water lightly at first when growth begins.
• Increase watering once the leaf is fully developed.
• Do not overwater — soggy soil can cause the tuber to rot.
• Feed every 2–3 weeks with a balanced liquid fertiliser once the leaf has formed. This helps the tuber store energy for next year’s flower.
• No pruning required.

After Flowering / Dormancy

• In Autumn, the leaf will yellow and die back — this is normal.
• Once dormant, stop watering completely.
• The tuber can be: Left in the ground in mild, well-drained areas or lifted and stored dry, frost-free over winter (recommended in colder or wetter areas)
• Not fully frost hardy.
• Protect with a thick mulch if left in the ground, or store tubers dry at around 5–10°C.
• All parts of the plant are toxic if ingested.
• Don’t worry if it skips flowering some years — it may need to build up energy.
• Surprisingly resilient once established, despite its exotic appearance.
