Crinum Powelli Pink also known as the Swamp Lily will produce large, trumpet-shaped, lily-like, pink flowers up to 5in (12cm) in wide. Each large, green stem will produce up to 8-10 exotic looking flowers. Great for growing in pots or in garden borders.

  • Plant with the pointy end of the bulb upwards with top of bulb just above soil level.
  • Plant in fertile, well-drained soil.
  • If planting in the garden, ensure your soil is free-draining. You can add some mulch to yoursoil to enrich it.
  • If planting in pots, a good multi-purpose compost is fine, you can mix in some mulch for extra body.
  • Water in well after planting and continue to water regularly throughout the season.
  • Crinums will flower in the late summer / early autumn.

Summer Flowering Bulbs are delivered in Spring

Delivery and P&P

Summer Flowering Bulbs are dispatched from the end of February to June.
All orders should be dispatched within 3-5 working days during this time.
Postage cost to the UK (excluding N.Ireland) is £4.99.
Orders over £50 qualify for FREE delivery.
Unfortunately, we are not currently delivering to the EU. See Delivery page.
When your order is due for dispatch, you will receive a tracking email from us to track your parcel with the Royal Mail or Caribou.
Your parcel will be sent on a 48 hour tracked service.

Returns and Refunds

You have the right to cancel your order at any time before it is dispatched.
All returns must be returned at your cost within 7 days of receipt.
Payment for the returned goods will be refunded within 7 days of the goods being received by us, less the postage charges.

Care Instructions

  • When the flowers fade, remove each one to encourage further flowering from new buds.
  • After flowering, remove the old stems entirely.
  • If you are leaving your Crinums in the ground over winter, add a layer of mulch around the bulb to protect them and cover them with extra mulch.
  • If you are lifting and storing them over winter, cut back all the foliage and lift the bulbs out of the ground, then store them in a light, frost-free place.
  • The bulbs can then be replanted the following spring.
