Kniphofia Alcazar is also well known as Red Hot Poker. Add this fiery show stopper to give your garden a sizzling display in the late summer. Red Hot Poker is ideal for the gardener that likes to grow fully hardy flowers that need very little maintenance. How to plant Knihofia Alcazar

Plant your Kniphofia Alcazar roots outside during the spring.
Soak the roots in water for 30 minutes prior to planting.
Grow in borders or containers in full sun / partial shade.
Plant the rhizomes 10-15cm (4-6") deep.
Space the rhizomes about 25-30cm (10-12") apart.
Plant with the shoots facing upwards.
Water-in after planting and keep hydrated while in growth.

Kniphofia Alcazar come from South Africa, but they do well in the UK when planted in full sun.
Kniphofia can be planted individually but they really come alive when planted in mass.
Plant Crocosmia or Dahlias alongside Kniphofias to really add that exotic look to your garden!

Summer Flowering Bulbs are dispatched from the end of February to the end of May.
All orders should be dispatched within 3-5 working days during this time.
Postage cost to mainland UK (excluding N.Ireland, Highlands and Isles) is £4.99.
