The showy blooms of the Amaryllis, also known as the Hippeastrum, are unrivalled in the plant and flower world. Amaryllis are known for being tremendous pot plants that can easily be “forced” for out-of-season flowers indoors. They are equally fantastic when planted outdoors for a striking feature in your garden.
