Muscari 'Pink Sunrise'

Yes, you read that right — a pink Muscari! When we think of grape hyacinths, we usually picture their signature deep blue blooms. But now, there's a beautiful twist on a classic: Muscari 'Pink Sunrise', a soft and elegant baby pink variety that brings something truly unique to your spring garden.

With its delicate blush tones and dainty, bell-shaped florets, 'Pink Sunrise' adds a fresh, romantic touch to borders, containers, and spring bulb displays. It looks particularly spectacular when planted in generous drifts, where its subtle colour can really shine — or try pairing it with creamy white Narcissi and pastel Tulips for a gentle, painterly palette that captures the magic of a spring morning.

This charming variety isn’t just lovely to look at — it’s also just as hardy and easy to grow as its blue cousins. Whether you're creating a soft, cottage-style border or looking for something a little different to elevate your spring display, Muscari 'Pink Sunrise' is a delightfully unexpected choice that’s sure to turn heads and start conversations.

How to plant Muscari

  • Find a location with well-drained soil
  • Muscari are shade lovers and grow well in full or partially-shaded areas.
  • If planting in the garden, plant the bulbs 6-8cm (2-3") below the soil surface and 6-8cm (2-3") apart.
  • We advise planting them in groupings of 10 or more bulbs.
  • If planting in Pots, find a container and fill it with good-quality, well-drained soil. Ensure there is adequate draining holes.
  • Plant in the Autumn, September through November.
  • After planting, water the bulbs well, gently soaking the soil to settle it around the bulbs.
  • Muscari will flower in March.

Care Instructions

How to care for your Muscari

  • After flowering has finished for the season leave the foliage in place; don't cut it off. The leaves will gather sunlight, create food through photosynthesis and strengthen the bulbs for the future.
  • Water as needed during active growth periods.
