Amaryllis 'Cherry Nymph', is a double, bright red Amaryllis that will flower in time for Christmas! Perfect for your Christmas table decoration! Your Amaryllis can then be moved outdoors in a sunny position once the weather heats up where it can flower again in the Summer months getting two flowering periods a year!

How to plant Amaryllis for indoors

  • Plant in the autumn (September to November).
  • Amaryllis are tender bulbs and should be kept away from frosts. They are best grown indoors.
  • Place one bulb to a 12-14cm pot. Ensure the pot has good drainage.
  • Add a layer of good-quality, multi-purpose compost to the base of the pot until it is the right height for the top of the bulb to be above the rim of the pot.
  • Position the bulb with the top half exposed from the soil surface allowing 3cm around the circumference of the bulb. 
  • Fill the sides around the bulb with more compost. 
  • Plant with the pointy end facing upwards.
  • Keep well watered after planting.
  • Position the pot in a warm, sunny position indoors.

  • As long as there's no risk of further frost, you can plant your amaryllis outside for the spring and summer months. 
  • Plant in the spring (April to May).

Delivery and P&P

Spring Flowering Bulbs are dispatched from September to November.
All orders should be dispatched within 3-5 working days during this time. (Unless otherwise stated on the Shipping est.)
Postage cost to mainland UK (excluding N.Ireland) is £4.99.
Orders over £50 qualify for FREE delivery.

Returns and Refunds

All returns must be returned at your cost within 7 days of receipt.

Care Instructions

How to care for Amaryllis

  • After the your Amaryllis has finished flowering, cut the flower head off and leave the stem and foliage to die back naturally. 
  • Once the stem turn yellow and sagging, it can all be removed. 
  • Lift and store the bulb in a cool drak place before replanting again in the Autumn. 
  • Alternatively, you can pop your Amaryllis outside when the weather heats up for a 2nd flowering period.
