All returns must be returned at your cost within 7 days of receipt.
Payment for the returned goods will be refunded within 7 days of the goods being received by us, less the postage charges. 

Planting Eremurus Bulbs in the Garden

• Choose a sunny position for stronger flower stems. Light shade is tolerated but not ideal.
• Select the site carefully—Eremurus dislikes being disturbed once planted.
• Ensure well-drained, sandy soil, preferably acidic to neutral in pH.
• Dig a hole 12–15cm (5–6") deep and 25–30cm (10–12") wide.
• Gently fan out the roots, pointing them slightly downward—handle with care as the roots are fragile.
• Space bulbs about 30cm (1ft) apart to give each plant room to grow.
• Water well after planting, soaking the soil gently to settle it around the roots.
• Root growth begins in autumn; top growth and flowering occur in spring.

Planting Eremurus Bulbs in Pots or Containers

• Use a large container (minimum 30cm deep and wide) with good drainage holes.
• Fill with a well-draining, sandy compost mix—add grit or sand for extra drainage.
• Position the pot in a sunny, sheltered location.
• Plant bulbs 12–15cm (5–6") deep, with roots spread out gently in a wide planting hole.
• Ensure roots are not crowded—plant one bulb per pot or space well in larger planters.
• Water after planting, but avoid waterlogging—roots dislike excess moisture.
• Protect pots from severe winter wet by placing them in a cold frame or under cover, while still allowing light.
• Look for growth in spring, with flowering in early to mid-summer.

How to Care for your Eremurus

• Water deeply once a week during active growth—deep soakings are better than frequent light watering.
• Adjust watering based on weather conditions; ensure soil remains moist but not waterlogged.
• Once flowering is complete, reduce watering gradually as the plant enters dormancy.
• After the blooms fade, cut back the flower spikes to maintain tidiness.
• Leave the foliage intact—it continues photosynthesis, helping the bulb store energy for the next season.
• By mid-summer, the leaves will naturally yellow and die back—this is normal.
• Once the foliage has completely died back, it can be gently removed.
• Mark the spot with a small stake or tag to avoid disturbing the dormant crown during other gardening activities.
