Narcissus 'Tahiti'
Narcissus 'Tahiti' Narcissi Tahiti Tahiti Daffodil

Narcissus 'Tahiti' is a real showstopper in the spring garden — bold, bright, and bursting with tropical flair. This striking double-flowered daffodil features layers of rich golden-yellow petals, dramatically accented by a ruffled centre of vibrant orange. The effect is warm, exotic, and utterly eye-catching — just like its island namesake.

Reaching around 40 cm tall, 'Tahiti' stands proudly in borders, containers, and pots, where its vivid colouring and full, frilly form can be appreciated up close. It’s also a fantastic cut flower, bringing cheerful colour and a hint of fragrance indoors.

Flowering in mid to late spring, this variety adds depth and contrast to your display — pairing beautifully with paler daffodils, muscari, or early tulips.

Hardy, reliable, and easy to grow, Narcissus 'Tahiti' has earned a place in many gardeners’ favourites thanks to its bold looks and strong performance.

Plant in groups for maximum impact — and let ‘Tahiti’ bring a splash of golden sunshine to your spring garden.

Care Instructions

How to care for Narcissus

  • After flowering has finished for the season leave the foliage in place; don't cut it off. The leaves will gather sunlight, create food through photosynthesis and strengthen the bulbs for the future.
  • Water as needed during active growth periods.
  • By mid summer the leaves may yellow and die back. Foliage may be removed at this point.
