Galanthus Nivalis is the popular, common Snowdrop that are ideal flowers to be planted in woodland areas especially alongside other shade-lovers like Cyclamen. Snowdrops are great little naturalisers that produce more and more, year after year. 
 
Galanthus Nivalis is the typical wild species you first see during the winter-spring months. They are great for forming clumped groupings or planted around the base of deciduous trees. A typical spring flower that delights the garden lover early in the year. 
  • Find a location with well-drained, moist soil
  • Snowdrops grow well in full Sun or partially-shaded areas. 
  • If planting in the garden, plant the bulbs 6-8cm below the soil surface.
  • If planting in Pots, find a container and fill it with good-quality, well-drained soil. Ensure there is adequate draining holes.
  • Plant in the Autumn, September through November.
  • After planting, water well, gently soaking the soil to settle it around the bulbs.
  • Snowdrops will flower February through to March.

Delivery and P&P

Spring Flowering Bulbs are dispatched from September to November.
All orders should be dispatched within 3-5 working days during this time.

Returns and Refunds

All returns must be returned at your cost within 7 days of receipt.
Payment for the returned goods will be refunded within 7 days of the goods being received by us, less the postage charges. 



Planting & Growing Instructions

Care Instructions

  • After flowering has finished for the season leave the foliage in place; don't cut it off. The leaves will gather sunlight, create food through photosynthesis and strengthen the bulbs for the future.
  • Water as needed during active growth periods.
  • Allow the flower to die back completely before clearing away any foliage.
