Leucojum Aestivum, commonly known as Summer Snowflake, is a close relative of the beloved Snowdrop (Galanthus) and shares a similarly graceful, nodding, bell-shaped flower structure. However, unlike Snowdrops, which bloom in late winter to early spring, Leucojum Aestivum flowers later in the season, typically in mid to late spring. This taller species can reach heights of 30 to 60cm (12 to 24 inches), making it a striking addition to gardens, particularly in damp, low-lying areas.

Fully hardy and resilient, Summer Snowflake thrives in moist yet well-drained soil, making it an excellent choice for planting around pond margins, stream banks, or other water features where the soil remains consistently damp. Its delicate, white, bell-shaped blooms are accented by small green markings on the petal tips, adding a touch of elegance to garden landscapes.

Leucojum Aestivum naturalises well, forming dense clumps over time, and is relatively low-maintenance, requiring minimal care once established. All returns must be returned at your cost within 7 days of receipt.
