Now that the flowers are drying off, seed heads are forming. Will it weaken the plants if I let the seeds mature for gathering? Or should I cut them off to allow the bulbs to recover?

We do suggest cutting the seed head off to allow the stem and foliage to die back naturally to enhance the bulb for the following season. We advise protecting your hymenocallis over winter by keeping them frost free.
