My beautiful Parquay TREE LILY snapped off today, so, I haVE cut the remainder and brought it inside.
Will the bulb be OK for next year?

Yes it’ll be fine. We like it to have atleast 2′ of stem left if possible for it to feed the bulb for the following year. I would advise feeding your lily with a tomato feed when you see signs of growth next year.

Hello, I am looking for a good display of Tulips ,for some large pots we have in Goostrey. I would appreciate some advice on what mix to buy . Kind regards Emma

Hi Emma

It depends on which colours you like and what height you would like to achieve. You could plant them like layering a lasagne and have shorter varieties on the outside with the taller tulips in the centre.
The Bella Fleur Collection is a lovely mix of deep purple and bright pink. But we also have many other gorgeous varieties.

Having a small garden, I’d like some alliums in pots that don’t grow to huge heights (say up to 24″ – less if possible, but not dwarf). I’m looking for 3 to 5 bulbs in each of white and purple. Can you help please?

Allium Millenium is a great shorter, purple variety of allium. It will only reach around 20″ tall. It is a long-flowering allium that comes into flower in July. Graceful Beauty is a gorgeous white allium that will reach 12″.
