Planting lilies

I have just received a delivery from you. If I plant my lilies straight away is it too soon and will they survive. Thinking pots and should I put them in shade for now.

Hi Jennifer

Plant your lilies straight away and they will be in flower in 8-12 weeks. Lilies require full sun/partial shade. Pots are ideal for lilies, plant them in a good-quality, multi-purpose compost or John Innes No.3 is good. Hope this helps.
