Will lilies grow well in Spain?

Will your lilies grow in Spain and are any varieties more suitable.

Good Morning,
Yes Lilies will grow fine in Spain. Just bear in mind that Lilies like to have a cold dormant phase over the winter months and not to get waterlogged, therefore I would advise planting them in pots and storing them over winter where they can be kept cold and not get waterlogged. If you’re unsure of your soil type, try the Oriental Trumpet Lilies (Tree lilies) as these like any type of well-drained soil.
