Gloriosa Lily

Hi,
I bough some Gloriosa lilies from you at the Harrogate Spring Flower Show and they are doing very well in my greenhouse, flowering etc.
I was wondering if it would be feasible for me to plant the bulbs permanently in my (unheated) greenhouse? I have a jasmine growing very well in the greenhouse at the moment. We live in Hull on the east coast but temperatures don’t plunge in winter like they used to. I was thinking of covering the area where i would plant the bulbs with fleece/straw over winter to help keep the temperature up and any frost at bay.
Do you think this would work?
Many thanks,
Ian

They should be ok in your greenhouse. We just advise that you don’t let your Gloriosa Tubers get damp or they could rot. Please ensure your soil has completely dried out.
