Hello,
I have been looking at your Crinum Powelli Alba bulbs and wanted to ask your advice before placing an order.
I tried to grow these last year (not purchased from you). They were top sized bulbs but the most that I achieved was a lot of leaves with no flowers.
Are these easy to grow and do you have any advice on the best way to achieve good results.
Also, are these hardy, I am based in the Midlands.
Thanks
Dean

Hi Dean

Nerines are hardy and easy to grow. Sometimes that can take a year or two to get settled in. They can be a little fussy as they don’t like being disturbed. We advise planting them in a nice sunny position with the necks planted just above ground level.

Hi there,
Are your Nerine bulbs in stock and what time of year should I plant them?
Many thanks,
Kate

Hi Kate

Yes we still have Nerines in stock and they can still be planted now for flowering later in the year.

Planting Nerine Bulbs

Hello
What is the correct way to plant Nerine bulbs?
Some places say neck above soil, some say whole bulb below soil, some say most of bulb above soil.
Which is correct?
Thank you.

Good morning,
We advise having the neck of the nerine bulb above the soil – see instructions attached.
