Feeding Roselilies

Hello
I have been growing your Roselilies for several years with much pleasure and great success!. They are in large containers which are overwintered in a frost-free greenhouse.
Could you tell me the best way of feeding these container grown plants.

Your lilies are quite happy to have a cold dormant phase and can withstand -25 degree temperatures. Lily bulbs just don’t like to get too wet.
You can feed your lilies with a tomato feed, I’d suggest using it at 1/4 strength so dilute some with water. Once you see signs of growth, you spray the tomato feed every other week.

I bought some Bendigo bulbs from your stand at Malvern. But when i have searched your site for some more info i cannot find it. Could you help please.

Sorry for the delay in replying. Lilium OT Bendigo was a special show variety for Malvern therefore we don’t have it listed on our website. If you need any further information, you can follow the care instructions of any of our Oriental Trumpet lilies listed, for example:

Lilies in November

At Tatton Flower Show last year I purchased from you some lily bulbs. They flowered in November, and were an absolute joy. They are now flowering again! Unfortunately I was away at the time of the flower show this year. Are you able to supply these lilies again? They are marvellous.

The Oriental lillies that I ordered are absolutely gorgeous but find they are so tall in the pots I have planted them in are constantly blowing over! Can you recommend the correct size please.

You will need a good 14-16 inch ceramic patio pot for 3 bulbs. How many bulbs have you planted and what size pot have you used?

What special feeding do lilies need? thank you

Good evening,

We recommend feeding your lily bulbs with a tomato feed at a 1/4 of the strength. Start feeding them as soon as you see signs of growth.

Do you have any lilies in flower for sale or is it too late?

All our lilies are sent out in Spring ready for planting.
