I’m a botanical artist (and although unusual, I have little interest in gardening)!! I want to paint a Madonna Lily this Summer.
If you send me bulbs, is it too late. If so, can you send me the plant in flower, and when?

Sorry it’s the wrong time to plant Madonna Lilies. These need planting in the Autumn for Spring flowering. We do not have any in flower I am afraid.

Hello The Hart Family
I would like to be able to buy three Madonna Lily’s if it is possible, I have been told it is the wrong season to buy at the moment.
I would be very grateful for your advice.

Good afternoon,

Yes you are correct, it is the wrong season. Lilium Candidum (also known as The Madonna lily) needs to be planted in the Autumn. We will have these available to purchase online from June onwards for Autumn dispatch.

Is it to late to buy and plant giant lilies now?

We are now taking pre-orders of lilies for them to be dispatched in Feb/March ready for planting. We have plenty of the large lily varieties including some collections which contain some top sellers:

Lillies for autumn planting

Hi
Please could you tell me what lillies you have available for delivery now so I can plant in September. I am looking to add to my cut flower bed on my allotment where I have a few lillies already. I would like mainly pink colours and good scent that would make great cut flowers, ideally several varieties that will flower at slightly different times. Many thanks, Richard

Hi there,
The only lily we have available for dispatch and planting now, is Lilium Candidum – the Madonna Lily. We also have out Martagon Lilies available for dispatch this Autumn. All our other lilies will be sent out in the Spring for Summer flowering.

Tree lilies

If these are dispatched in February, will they flower next summer 2020. Also, is it possible to send them for Autumn planting, please ….. Kathleen

Hi Kathleen,

Lily bulbs are ready for planting in the Spring for Summer flowering, so yes they will be in flower in the Summer of 2020. The only Autumn planting lilies we have are Lilium Candidum and Martagon Lilies.

I would like to know if you have any in stock and ready to ship to italy?

Yes we do ship our Lilium Candidum to Italy, however it is the wrong time of the year to plant them at the moment. They will be back in stock to order from June onwards and they will be dispatched in the Autumn ready for planting.
